AIIMS Delhi issues a memorandum that states the doctors’ strike has not ended yet; there shall be provision of only emergency services, ICUs, emergency procedures  and emergency OT and no service of academic activities, elected OPDs, ward and OPD services. Doctors in 36 specialized departments including medicine, surgery, Obs&Gynae, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, and others will be running OPDs outside Nirman Bhawan today, from 11 A.m. onwards.  

A week after the rape-murder of the PG trainee in Kolkata, the protest against the incident has not stopped. This unanimous step is taken forward from AIIMS due to the lack security to the healthcare professionals across the country and that the demands of the doctors are not been taken care of by the government.
